Strong emphasis is laid on inculcating a sense of social service in the students. Some of the the social initiatives in this direction are:
Students visit the Blind School from time to time to interact with the inmates. We also take our children to this Institution on one major festival during the year. Like last session our students went to the Blind Institute in Sector 26 to celebrate Rakhi.
Our tiny tots try to bring sparkle in the life of old people by giving the surprise visits from time and presenting a small cultural programme.
Last session the students visited the paraplegic home in Mohali and interacted with the brave soldiers and spent some time with them. They also present a small cultural programme in their honour.
Aanchalites adopt various methods to deliver the message that crackers are an enemy of Mother nature. They make posters, masks and take out processions in busy market places.
Our students have also visited the orphanage at Missionaries of Charity home in Sector 23 to celebrate various festivals with their special friends.
In the session 2005-06, we have planted around 200 trees in and around the school premises.
