Method of Evaluation
For Class Pre Nursery to Class II: Comprehensive evaluation based on regular tests both oral and written
Class III onwards:
Comprehensive evaluation combined with mid term and final assessments.
Examination and promotion:
The annual performance and the general progress of the student is assessed twice in an year on the basis of unit tests and terminal examinations as given below:
Unit Test : 20 Marks Examination : 80 Marks
The final result is based on the average of the marks obtained in the two terminal examinations. Parents should ensure that their children do not miss the unit test and the terminal examinations. If any child does not appear in the unit test/ examination a separate test/ exam shall not be conducted for him/ her.
The decision of the school authorities with regard to promotion is final. Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year’s work of the pupil; hence the importance of regularity in attendance and work is imperative.
